It has a hemp herringbone tape bound top edge and a base made from military surplus tent canvas. The heavy calico lining has an inside utility pocket and accessory loops. This bag has 25mm vegetable tanned split cowhide leather straps with copper rivets. Brass 5¥ coin on strap.
